Enda Wyley was born in Dublin in 1966.

Her collections are Eating Baby Jesus (Dublin, The Dedalus Press, 1993); Socrates In the Garden (The Dedalus Press, 1998); Poems for Breakfast (Dedalus, 2004); To Wake to This (The Dedalus Press, 2009); and Borrowed Space, New and Selected Poems (Dedalus, 2014).

Her books for children are Boo and Bear (illustrated Greg Massardier, Dublin, The O’Brien Press, 2003); The Silver Notebook (The O’Brien Press, 2007); and for 7-9 year olds, I Won’t Go to China! (illustrated by Marie Thorhauge, O’Brien Press, 2009), which was awarded a Reading Association of Ireland Special Merit Award 2011.

She was poet in Residence in Melbourne University in 1996, having received The Vincent Buckley Memorial Award that year. In 2014 she was the recipient of a Katherine and Patrick Kavanagh Fellowship for her poetry.

She lives in Dublin.
