Susan Millar DuMars
Susan Millar DuMars was born in Philadelphia in 1966.
The first full collection of her poetry is Big Pink Umbrella (Cliffs of Moher, Salmon Poetry, 2008).
Her short stories have been published as American Girls (Belfast, Lapwing, 2007).
In 2005 she received an Irish Arts Council Bursary for her fiction.
Since 2003, Susan and her husband Kevin Higgins have organised the Over the Edge reading series in Galway.
She lives in Galway.
