Rita Ann Higgins
Rita Ann Higgins was born in 1955 in Galway.

Her plays, Face Licker Come Home (Salmon Publishing, 1991), and God-of-the-Hatch-Man, were produced by Punchbag Theatre Company. She has won several awards and her work has been selected for Yale University's Literature Curriculum.
She is a member
of Aosdána, and lives in Galway.
