Riordan, Maurice

Maurice Riordan was born in Lisgoold, Co Cork, in 1953.
His collections are A Word from the Loki (London, Faber and Faber, 1995), which was a Poetry Book Society Choice; Floods (Faber & Faber, 2000), which was shortlisted for the Whitbread Prize; The Holy Land (Faber, 2007); and The The Water Stealer (Faber, 2013).

He has edited, with science-journalist Jon Turney, an anthology of poems about science, A Quark for Mister Mark (Faber, 2000), and Hart Crane, a selection of poems (Faber, 2008)
He lives in London.
