Padraig Rooney

Padraig Rooney was born in 1956 in Monaghan. He has published many short stories, and one novel, Oasis (Poolbeg Press, 1982). He won the Patrick Kavanagh Award for Poetry in 1986.
His poetry collections are In The Bonsai Garden (Dublin, Raven Arts Press, 1988; and The Escape Artist (Huddersfield, UK, Smith/Doorstop Books, 2006)
He spent many years in the Far East, and now lives in Mittel Europa.
