Padraic Fallon
Padraic Fallon was born in Athenry, Co Galway in 1905.
His only collection during his lifetime, Collected Poems (Dublin, The Dolmen Press, 1974) was published a few months before his death. His son, the critic Brian Fallon, edited the posthumous Poems & Versions (Dublin, Raven Arts Press, Manchester, Carcenet Press, 1983).
Brian Fallon also wrote many plays for radio in the 1950s, as well as short stories and literary journalism.
He died in 1974.
