Nuala Ní Chonchúir
Nuala Ní Chonchúir was born in Dublin in 1970.
Previously collected as Molly’s Daughter, in ¡DIVAS! Series (Galway, Arlen House, 2003), her first stand-alone poetry collection is Tatoo : Tatú (Galway, Arlen House, 2007).
Her story collections are The Wind Across the Grass (Arlen House, 2004); and To the World of Men, Welcome (Arlen House, 2005).
She has edited an anthology of Galway women writers, ¡DIVAS! A Sense of Place, (2005) and the first three titles in Arlen House’s latest women’s writing series, new writing from the west, (2005).
She won the inaugural Cúirt New Writing Prize (2004), RTÉ's Francis Mac
Manus Award (2002), the Cecil Day Lewis Award (2003), and has twice been nominated for a Hennessy Award (2001 & 2005), all for fiction.
She lives in Galway.
