Niall Williams
Niall Williams was born in Dublin in 1958.
His novels are Four Letters of Love (London, Picador, 1997); As It Is In Heaven (Picador, 1999), short listed for the Irish Times Literature Prize; The Fall of Light (Picador, 2001); and Boy in the World (London, Harpur Collins, 2007).
His plays are The Murphy Initiative (Dublin, The Abbey Theatre, 1991); A Little Like Paradise (The Abbey Theatre, Peacock stage, 1995 [included in Contemporary Plays of the Abbey Theatre, University of Syracuse Press]); The Way You Look Tonight (Galway, Druid Theatre, 1999/Dublin, New Island Books).
He has also published non-fiction in collaboration with Christine Breen.
Translated into many languages, he lives in Kiltumper, in West Clare.
