Nell Regan
Nell Regan was born in London and grew up in Dublin.
Apart from a chapbook, Underworld (Belfast, Lapwing, 2004), her first collection is Preparing for Spring (Galway, Arlen House, 2007/New York, Syracuse University Press, forthcoming).
Among her non-fiction publications is the first biography of Helena Molony, (Female Activists, Irish Women and Change, Eds Maria Luddy and Mary Cullen, Dublin, Woodfield Press, 2001); and in the Field Day Anthlogy Vol 4.
Her awards include the 2007 Dublin City Council Bursary for Literature.
A graduate of The Poets' House, Donegal /Lancaster University, she has worked as a documentary researcher and currently teaches in Dublin.
