Moya Cannon

Moya Cannon was born in Dunfanaghy, Co Donegal.
Her collections are Oar, for which she received The Brendan Behan Memorial Prize (Galway, Salmon Publishing, 1990); The Parchment Boat (Loughcrew, Co Meath, The Gallery Press, 1997); and Carrying the Songs (Manchester, Carcanet Press, 2007).
She has been editor of The Poetry Ireland review and is a member of Aosdána.
She lives in Galway.
