Morag Prunty
Morag Prunty was born in Scotland in 1964 to Irish parents. She moved to
Ireland in 1990 to re-launch Irish Tatler.
Her non-fiction includes the
best-selling handbook for teenage girls, Boys (London, Picadilly Press,
1993).
Her novels are Wild Cats & Colleens/Dancing with Mules (London, Pan MacMillan,
2001/New York, Harper Collins, 2001); Disco Daddy (Pan MacMillan,
2002/New York, Harper Collins, 2002); Poison Arrows (Dublin, Tivoli, 2003);
Superstar Lovers (Pan MacMillan, 2004/Harper Collins, 2004).
Morag Prunty also publishes under the name Kate Kerrigan. As Kate Kerrigan she has published Recipes for a Perfect Marriage (London, Hyperion Books, 2006), which was translated into 15 languages and sold for film rights with Augustine Films in San Francisco; and The Miracle of Grace (London, Pan Macmillan, Spring 2007).
She lives in Mayo.
