Kevin Higgins was born in London in 1967, and grew up in Galway City. His first collection is The Boy With No Face (The Cliffs of Moher, Co Clare, Salmon Poetry, 2005). Well-known for the performance of his poetry, he was a founding co-editor of The Burning Bush literary magazine and is the poetry critic of The Galway Advertiser. He lives in Galway.
