James McCabe
James McCabe was born in Dublin in 1966.
His first collection is The White Battlefield of Silence (Dublin, The Dedalus Press, 1999).
He has been shortlisted for the Hennessy Prize, and has won the Scottish International Poetry Prize and two Hawthornden Awards. He holds an Oxford Doctorate in Irish poetry and is currently editing The Desert and the Solitude - James Clarence Mangan’s lost autobiography.
