Maeve Ingoldsby is Writer-in-Residence with Barnstorm Theatre Company. She has written many plays for children, including for Team Theatre Company, two children’s operas, numerous pantomimes and scripts for Radio and TV.
Her plays include Firestone (Team Educational Theatre Company, 1991, on tour); Earwigs (Team Educational Theatre Company, 1992, on tour); Tyrannosaurus Twerp (Dublin, Project Arts Centre, 1993); Out of Line (Dublin, Fr Matthew Hall, 1994); The Monkey Puzzle Tree (Team Educational Theatre Company, 1995, on tour). Her work with Barnstorm Theatre Company includes Digger, Doc and Dee Dee Kilkenny, Watergate Theatre, 1996); Bananas in the Bread Bin (Watergate Theatre, 1997); Silly Bits of Sky (Watergate Theatre, 1998); Scaredy Cats (Watergate Theatre, 1999); Kevin’s Story (Watergate Theatre, 2001); and The Bus ([with Philip Hardy], Watergate Theatre, 2002).
She has also written and staged War & Peace (the musical) (Dublin, Convergence Festival, 2003).
She lives in Dublin.
