Heather Brett
Heather Brett was born in Canada, raised in Northern Ireland and has lived in the Republic of Ireland since 1983.
Her collections are Abigail Brown (Galway, Salmon Poetry, 1991). The Touch-Maker (Monaghan, The Alternative Publishing Company, 1994/Toronto, Literary Publishing 1994); and
Green monkey, travelling (Bristol, UK, Bluechrome, 2005)
She was awarded the 1992 Brendan Behan Memorial Prize for Abigail Brown, and in the same year she was awarded an Arts Council Bursary
She lives in County Cavan.
