Eithne Strong

Eithne Strong was born in Limerick in 1925.

Her short stories include the collection Patterns (Poolebeg, 1981).
Her novels are Degrees of Kindred (Dublin, Tansey Books, 1979); and The Love Riddle (Dublin, The Attic Press, 1993).
She won The Kilkenny Design Award for Flesh - The Greatest Sin, in 1991, and was a member of Aosdána.
She is commemorated, with her husband the psychoanalyst and poet Rupert Strong, by the Eithne and Rubert Strong Award.
