Eithne Strong
Eithne Strong was born in Limerick in 1925.

She won The Kilkenny Design Award for Flesh - The Greatest Sin, in 1991, and was a member of Aosdána.
She is commemorated, with her husband the psychoanalyst and poet Rupert Strong, by the Eithne and Rubert Strong Award.
