Conor Kostick

Conor Kostick is an historian and a writer of fiction for children and young adults.
His fictional works are Epic (Dublin, O’Brien, 2004); Saga (O’Brien, 2006); The Book of Curses (O’Brien, 2007); and Move (O’Brien, 2008);
His non-fiction publications include Revolution in Ireland (London, Pluto Press, 1996).; and The Social Structure of the First Crusade (Leiden, Brill, 2008).
His other work includes The Easter Rising, A Guide to Dublin in 1916 (O’Brien, 2000), co-author with Lorcan Collins; and Irish Writers Against War (Dublin, O’Brien, 2003), co-editor with Katherine Moore.
Epic was awarded a place on the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) Honour List 2006 and Booklist Oline’s Top 10 Fantasy Books for Youth: 2007.
Conor lives in Dublin.
